Tickets for The Open come in a variety of types to suit a wide demographic of fans.

Classic Tickets

Classic Tickets are General Admission tickets which provide entry to The Open, access to the Spectator Village and seating in one of the thousands of free grandstand seats around the venue. Classic tickets are available to members of One Club, our free online membership via a Ticket Ballot. 

The different ticket categories of Classic Tickets are Junior, Youth and Adult. We also provide complimentary Carer tickets for those who need to attend accompanied by a carer. More information about Carer tickets can be found here.

Junior Tickets

The R&A is fully committed to encouraging more children to attend The Open and free Junior Classic tickets are available to children through the successful “Kids go Free” programme. These tickets must also be applied for using the Ticket Ballot and cannot be added to applications after the fact. Junior spectators must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Youth Tickets

Half-price Youth Classic tickets are available for those aged 16 to 24. To be eligible for this ticket category the ticket holder must be aged 24 or below (as of the first day of the championship). 

Adult Tickets

Adult Classic tickets are available for those aged over 24.
